Missing Endangered Woman, 23, Located After Search Starts In Northern Westchester

Police agencies in Westchester teamed together to help locate a missing endangered woman in Greenwich.

North Castle Police Sgt. Regen Hufnagle was called to Finch’s Country Market in Banksville shortly before 11:30 a.m. on Tuesday, April 2, to assist Mount Pleasant Police Department in locating the missing woman.

Police said that the 23-year-old woman, who was described as “endangered,” was believed to be with a 25-year-old man in Banksville. The two were reportedly driving in a gray 2006 Audi A4.

The investigation led to Hufnagle locating the Audi in front of a local store in Greenwich, and investigators from the North Castle, Mount Pleasant and Greenwich police departments responded to the scene. The woman was located safely and transported to a local hospital by an ambulance for evaluation.
